How it works...
Cortex's modular Fan Data Platform structure means all data we store data is primed for AI discovery, automatically. As it has been since our inception, data security and trust is our priority:
- AI runs fully inside existing environments: No data ever leaves your controlled infrastructure.
- Read-only, tightly governed access: Our AI layer can only read approved data, cannot write or modify anything, and all access is fully auditable.
- No data retention or training: Models cannot store, remember, or learn from any data. Each query is processed in isolation.
- In-region processing only: All AI operations run in the same region as the SCV database (EU-West-1 Dublin), ensuring no cross-region transfer.
- Relevant access only: Cortex limits access to only the data Cortex Assist needs, improving security and performance..
